Volunteer
There are a variety of ways groups and individuals can help.
- Carol for Fannie Battle during to the holidays, December 1-24. This is a great way to celebrate with friends, promote neighborhoods, and raise money for Fannie Battle. Visit the Caroling page for more information.
- Serve on the Online Celebrity (and so much more!). We need help soliciting items for the auction.
- Consider Fannie Battle for your organizations fundraising project. From a concert to a car wash, there are a variety of ways groups raise money for Fannie Battle. If you need an idea we have one.
- Groups or individuals are needed for landscaping and gardening (outdoor): trim bushes and small trees. To help beautify our playgrounds, volunteers can bring climbing vines, shrubs, and perennials to plant (we would welcome shared non-toxic plants from your garden).
- Tutor a school age child. You can help with homework, practice math, or listen to them read.
- Read to an individual/group of children at the Day Home.
- There are a variety of opportunities for group service projects. Call the Day Home to make arrangements.

"We volunteered to turn our birthday party into a charity event by asking for books and toys to give to the children of Fannie Battle."

HCA did an amazing job, cleaning, painting, sewing, and planting!

With all the help from Crichton, Brandon, Jackson & Ward, Fannie Battle looks great!
Will Blevins came up with a creative and fun way to raise money for the Day Home. He hosted a bake sale during the month of April. With the support of his family he raised $176.40. Will actively volunteers at the Day Home on a weekly basis.
