Infant Toddler Program
Infant/Toddler Program: Serves 10 children ages 6 weeks to 30 months. 88% of children achieved 75% of their social, emotional, physical, and intellectual developmental goals.
The Infant & Toddler Classroom provides childcare and enriching experiences to 10 children daily between the ages of 6 weeks and 30 months. There are three full-time teachers in this classroom. The teachers use a variety of curriculum resources in the development of appropriate weekly lesson plans and use the HELP Assessment (Hawaii Early Learning Profile) to establish individual goals for each child.
This progran has been highly successful. The classroom scored the highest of all classrooms on the 3 Star environmental rating scales (5.34 out of a potential 7.0), maintains full enrollment, and has an active waiting list that exceeds one year.
There have been many firsts with our 10 active children. We have delighted in seeing the children learn to roll over, crawl, pull up, walk (most at 9 months), say their first words, paint, and listen to stories. The Fannie Battle staff works extremely hard to ensure that our youngest children grow in a high quality environment with developmentally appropriate learning experiences.
"Fannie Battle's Fannie Battle’s Infant/Toddler Program is a great success. I was
excited because my son was already attending. I thought how convenient
this would be for both children to be at one place."
"The Infant/Toddler Program is what I expected and more. The
classroom setting is baby friendly, clean, and warm feeling.
The teachers are energetic, attentive, and consistent.
With thanks to Fannie Battle, Lyric
has learned and developed a lot in the past year. My children and I look
forward to many more years.

As Fannie Battle enters the first full year of providing an Infant/Toddler Program, the programs benefit or success will be measured by:
-
Providing care for the 6 weeks to 30 month old children.
-
Enabling parents to have all of their children cared for under one roof.
-
By October 2006, individual goals will be established for each child and the Hawaii Early Learning Profile (HELP) assessment and curriculum will be implemented. The HELP assessment is currently used for all children ages 2.5 to 7 and expanding this assessment to the children age 6 weeks to 2.5 years will help with the continuity of assessments and educational prgram. We expect measurable improved performance as the children move through Fannie Battle's programs.
